Kate Fiduccia is the segment host of “Cooking Wild in Kate’s Kitchen” and the Senior Editor of Woods N’ Water TV Series. She is a Cornell University Hotel School graduate with a bachelor’s in Business and Hotel Management.

Kate is an avid huntress. She has authored several books, The Venison Cook Book/Cooking Wild in Kate’s Kitchen, Cabin Cooking/Cooking Wild in Kate’s Camp, Grillin’ & Chili’n’, Backyard Grilling and The Quotable Wine Lover, which was a selection for the Paperback Book of the Month Club. Kate’s latest book is The Jerky Bible. Kate has written for Outdoor Life and Deer & Deer Hunting magazines and was a Charter Member of the Professional Outdoor Media Association.

Kate is a long-time featured speaker within the outdoor sport show circuit. Show promoters highlight her wild game cooking demos each season. During her cooking presentations, along with conveying sage wildgame cooking advice and recipes, Kate prepares two wild game dishes for her audience to taste. Show goers return each year to Kate’s seminars and have commented “it is one of the highlights of attending sport shows.”

Kate has also appeared on the CBS Evening News and MSNBC’s News with Brian Williams and was featured in both the New York Times and Newsday as “the original” female big game hunter on television. Kate was a deer-hunting instructor for ten years at New York State’s Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop.

Kate is a multi-talented businesswoman. For several years, she was an ENG-editor for ABC News in New York City, where she received the prestigious George Foster Peabody Award for her video editing of the events of September 11, 2001. Kate is currently the Director of Operations of New York Custom Processing in Bridgewater, New York.
